Getting started
Setting up your Scannables.
1. Create a free account
Visit: dashboard.scannables.com
- Enter your Email address and click Next
- If you already have an account you'll be asked to sign in
- Enter your details, review the Terms of service, and click Next
2. Activate a Scannable
- Click Activate
- Either click Scan a QR code to use your device's camera to scan the Scannable
- Or enter the 6-character ID printed on the Scannable
- Enter a Name for your Scannable, optional Description, and click Activate
You can also Tap or Scan a unactivated Scannable to launch it's content, and click Activate.
3. Configure it's content
- The Scannable will default to a suitable Content type
- Enter the required details and click Save
- A preview of the content can be seen on the right-hand side on desktop, or by clicking the Preview (phone with arrow) button on mobile
- Tap or Scan the Scannable to try it out!
You can change the content again later by visiting the dashboard, clicking My Scannables, then the Scannable in the list.
You can also Tap or Scan the Scannable to launch it's content, scroll to the bottom, and click the Settings (cog/gear) button.
